Jaime Magana
Executive Chef Jaime Magana, born in El Salvador, started cooking and assisting his mother in her catering business at the young age of nine. Since that time, his love and passion for cooking has continued to grow.
Jaime has been a part of the InterContinental family for 11 years and has perfected his culinary skills at properties including the Mark Hopkins in San Francisco, the Amstel in Amsterdam and the InterContinental Miami.
His move to Austin in May 2005 combines his Central & South American roots with Caribbean and European influences.
Jaime states, "I am excited to be in a city that has as much passion and adoration for food as I do." He looks forward to providing our guests with the service and excellence that is synonymous with the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin.
